WEGOTTHEHOUSEWOOHOOO!!!!!!!

Ahem. I mean to say, yes, we got our new house in Whitby, and Koi and I will be living on...

CHURCH STREET. Yes. On the very road beneath St Mary's and the Abbey leading up to the 199 Steps, in the middle of the old town, right beneath the wings of the Shadow Over Whitby... in the top two floors of a rickety old little building tucked tight in between its neighbours, with the sun coming through the ceiling and my window overlooking Church Street itself. It is fragging perfect. There is only one place I'd have been happier to get and that would've been the very corner of the West Cliff, but there's nothing going up there so this will do just FINE, thankyou!

And... well, I have nothing to add to this information, really. There is no point in my filling up half a page with capslock when everyone who knows me will be able to guess EXACTLY how I feel about this. ^_^

Laters,
Rath

PS And some kind souls have put a ton of Ingrimm songs on Youtube since I looked last! Yay!

Actually, I don't know either, even though I know it's there and I reckon I could pretty much draw its wingspan on a map of the town if you asked me to. The genius loci of Whitby? The ghost of Count Dracula? I have no idea, just a sense of it being there.

(Yes, I am weird, film at eleven...)

Do vampires have ghosts? /metaphysics

Ah, I though it was something more literal, like the shadow cast by the hill at a certain time of day. I actually wouldn't mind you picking it out, if you can find some way of doing it with MSPaint and Googlemaps.

Googlemaps has a feature where you can select an area of the map based on polygons.

Oh my GOD you will be living in Whitby I HATE you. (Not really.)

Whitby is somewhere I went on holiday when I was younger. It's one of a few places on a list of places which serve time as my desktop wallpaper when I'm particularly hating the whole living-in-London away from trees and rocks and hills and things. I want to go back there soon.

*nods* Whitby is very very special, and not like anywhere else. Do go back there! (And when you do, come and ring my doorbell and I will let you in and feed you tea and cake, obviously. ^_^)

Eeee, awesome! ^_^ I love that.

BTW, since you're now on my flist, do you want on any of my filters? They consist of Fandom (geekery), Headcast (also mainly geekery, but the kind that answers back), Religion (you probably already know roughly how mad I am in this regard cos you've seen me in Lupie's journal) and State of the Rath (where I stuff any unwanted emo so only people who want to see it, have to). They're all opt-in, so I just thought I'd ask. ^_^

Yeah, okay, why not, yes to all! I was curious about your headcast (are they past roleplaying characters or more like Lupie's cast?) I've not got any filters at the moment.

Fantastic! In you come, then, and welcome! *adjusts filters*

My headcast are pretty much like Lupie's, only a lot more of them are outsourced and they don't interact with this world as often as Lupie's do. And I'm happy to talk about them (I just filter them so as not to bore the people who aren't into such things), so please do fire questions at me should you so wish. :)
